Katarína Koščová a Daniel Špiner / miniaTOUR

Jedna speváčka a jeden klavirista. V prípade, že ide o dvojicu Koščová – Špiner, nik iný vám tam nebude chýbať. Žiaden veľký ansámbel, len dvaja interpreti a spolutvorcovia úplne stačia na to, aby sa dotkli diváka na tých najhlbších miestach. Na koncertoch Katky a Dana sa smeje i plače, divák sa stáva svedkom a súčasťou intímnej výpovede, skutočného priateľstva, lyrického prežívania i spoločného humoru. Katka a Daniel budú nablízko, na dotyk. Takto sú najuveriteľnejší pre seba aj pre ostatných.

Katka:

„Toto je môj najobľúbenejší spôsob hrania, takto vo dvojici. Mám pocit, že vtedy vychádza to najlepšie z nás oboch. Najuvoľnenejšie, najslobodnejšie.“

Katarína a Daniel vydali v novembri 2023 nový album s názvom Krehkosť, ktorý získal prestížnu slovenskú hudobnú cenu Radio_Head Awards v kategórii folk za rok 2023. Celý album vznikal v zrube pod Tatrami. Organicky, bez príprav, nahrávaný so všetkými ruchmi, špinou a životom naokolo. Výsledkom sú piesne o intimite, kráse ale aj bolesti, krehkosti a pominuteľnosti momentov, ktoré žijeme. Hudobná krehkosť zachytená bez príkras a filtrov. Základom minimalistických aranžmánov je klavír a spev, občas sa nenápadne ozve kontrabas, gitara a akordeón. V dvoch skladbách hosťuje český spevák a herec Ondřej Ruml.

Katarína má za sebou tiež úspešné koncerty s Geišbergovcami. Ako hosť pravidelne koncertovala s českou folkovou legendou Neřež. Zaspievala si s Danom Bártom, jazzovým AMC triom, swingovým Prešovským Dixielandom a mnohými ďalšími kapelami a interpretmi. Zhudobnila niekoľko textov Michala Horáčka, dva z nich – Štědrý večer, Přes most bez punčoch – sa stali súčasťou Horáčkovho projektu Český kalendář. Pieseň Štědrý večer naspievala Katarína ako duet s Vojtěchom Dykom.

Une chanteuse et un pianiste. S’il s’agit du duo Katarína (Katka) Koščová – Daniel Špiner, il ne vous manquera personne d’autre. Pas de grand ensemble, seulement deux interprètes et créateurs suffisent pour toucher le spectateur au plus profond. Lors des concerts de Katka et Daniel, on rit et on pleure; le spectateur devient témoin et partie prenante d’une confession intime, d’une véritable amitié, d’une expérience lyrique et d’un humour partagé. Katka et Daniel seront tous près de vous, à portée de main. Ainsi, ils sont les plus authentiques, pour eux-mêmes et pour les autres.

Katka: « C’est ma manière préférée de jouer, en duo. J’ai l’impression que c’est dans ces moments-là que le meilleur de nous deux se révèle. Le plus détendu, le plus libre. »

En novembre 2023, Katarína et Daniel ont sorti un nouvel album intitulé „Krehkosť“ („Fragilité“), qui a remporté le prestigieux prix de musique slovaque Radio_Head Awards dans la catégorie folk pour l’année 2023. L’album entier a été créé dans une cabane sous les Tatras (une chaîne de montagnes slovaque). De manière organique, sans préparation, enregistré avec tous les bruits, les impuretés et la vie autour. Le résultat, ce sont des chansons sur l’intimité, la beauté, mais aussi la douleur, la fragilité et l’éphémérité des moments que nous vivons. Une fragilité musicale capturée sans ornements, sans filtres. Les arrangements minimalistes reposent sur le piano et la voix, avec parfois des touches discrètes de contrebasse, guitare et accordéon. Le chanteur et acteur tchèque Ondřej Ruml est invité sur deux morceaux.

Katarína a également donné des concerts à succès avec les Geišberg. Elle a régulièrement été l’invitée de la légende du folk tchèque Neřež. Elle a chanté avec Dan Bárta, le trio de jazz AMC, le Prešov Dixieland swing et de nombreux autres groupes et interprètes. Elle a mis en musique plusieurs textes de Michal Horáček, dont deux – „Štědrý večer“ et „Přes most bez punčoch“ – sont devenus une partie du projet „Český kalendář“ de Horáček. Katarína a interprété la chanson „Štědrý večer“ en duo avec Vojtěch Dyk.

One singer and one pianist. If it’s the pair of Koščová – Špiner, you won’t miss anyone else there. No big ensemble, just two performers and co-creators are completely enough to touch the viewer in the deepest places. At Katka and Dan’s concerts, one laughs and cries, the viewer becomes a witness and part of an intimate statement, true friendship, lyrical experience and shared humor. Katka and Daniel will be nearby, close to touch. This is how they are most believable to themselves and to others.

Katarína and Daniel released a new album called Fragility in November 2023, which won the prestigious Slovak music prize Radio_Head Awards in the folk category for the year 2023. The entire album was created in a log cabin under the Tatras. Organically, without preparation, recorded with all the noise, dirt and life around. The result is songs about intimacy, beauty, but also pain, fragility and transience of the moments we live. Musical fragility captured without embellishments and filters. The basis of the minimalist arrangements is the piano and vocals, sometimes the double bass, guitar and accordion are heard unobtrusively. Czech singer and actor Ondřej Ruml is a guest in two songs.

Katarína also has successful concerts with the Geišbergs. As a guest, she regularly performed concerts with the Czech folk legend Neřež. She sang with Dan Bárta, the jazz AMC trio, the swing Prešovský Dixieland and many other bands and performers. She set several texts by Michal Horáček to music, two of them – Christmas Eve, Přes most bez poňoch – became part of Horáček’s Czech Calendar project. Katarína sang the Christmas Eve song as a duet with Vojtěch Dyk.
